I’m Amandria, known to many as Dri. I’m the wife, momma, and chief handy-woman.
I grew up in Haysville, KS, a suburb of Wichita, but moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas in 2005 after my senior year of high school to attend John Brown University. During my time there, I met, fell in love with, and married my best friend, Ansen. Being married and in college was an adventure, but such a fun time.
I majored in youth ministry and served as the youth minister at a local church for several years. I currently work at Cross Pointe Community Church as the college pastor. I’d like to think much of my experience transfers. :) The beauty of this job is that I do most of it from home, on campus or in a coffee shop, so I get to “stay home” with my sweet girls, Avie and Arwyn. And of course there’s the Mr. Puppers.
As I said, I’m the resident handy-woman. I love to do projects, figure things out, make things, create solution and often bite off more than I can chew. When something breaks, I tend to think I can fix it. I just wish I had more power tools! I also scrapbook… or at least keep lots of things with the intention of scrapbooking. It did take 2 years to get the wedding photos into the wedding scrapbook. And I coupon, knit, sew and do a few other crafty things. Not well, mind you, but good enough. But you’ll probably read about those here, on our blog!
