I’m pretty sure today was about as perfect as it could be, some not perfect pieces here and there.. but good overall. We started the day off early, and still had to rush a little because Pastor Carl is at the hospital with his dad. As of just a while ago, he was out of surgery, and now we wait for him to heal. I did announcements and Ansen lead worship, we sat with Katrina & Teasha while Denni preached, which was more fun than I thought. After church we had a meeting for all the kiddos going on the mission trip, which ended up being pretty great, even though some of them didn’t make it to the meeting. It makes me even more excited about this trip.
This afternoon I made bread, mango sorbet, and we cleaned the entire house. Don’t worry Tony & Rochelle, it really doesn’t look like that about 90% of the time. But it was pretty immaculate, if I do say so myself. And it wasn’t that whole rushed last minute cleaning either. We took our time and finished before we had to! Unfortunately, it will not stay that way very long. But it’s a nice thought.
Then we had some long lost friends come over for dinner… and a wonderful dinner at that. Steak, roasted sweet potatoes, sauted asparagus, french bread, brownies & mango sorbet! We should do this again really soon!!
