Quantitative Literacy

This is my first blog post that I’ve written while actually being in a class. Kind of exciting.

I’m currently sitting in Quantitative Literacy learning how to make line graphs and bar graphs and pie charts. I think that I can safely say that this is the single easiest class I have EVER taken in my life. And I’m not a math person.

This class reminds me of fourth grade math. Or maybe third. I don’t even know what to say about it. Other than if I didn’t have my laptop here w/ me then I would probably die of boredom within 15 minutes. As it is I die of boredom after about 20 minutes.

Did you know that if you make a bar graph it’s better to have spaces in between each bar? But if it it’s showing time you can’t have a space in between them. THAT’D BE HORRIFIC!!! The math police will toss you in the cooler for something like that. Heaven forbid. Everyone please keep me accountable on this. If I put spaces in between my bars on a histogram, please come to me first and tell me. If that doesn’t work, come with friends, for a cord of three strands is not easily broken. But please, never let me get away with it…for I do not wish to live in sin. May God protect me from temptation.

  1. omigoodness! I will definitely let you know if you are stepping out of bounds on this one. I mean, as your girlfriend, have some sort of responsibility for that, right? ;)
