Hours of Operation

I find it interesting how everyone’s “hours of operation” change on the weekends here at college.

Take your typical weekday for example. People will be getting up anywhere from around 7-9:30, depending on when their first class/activity begins. Some eat breakfast, some don’t. Most people it lunch in the caf and then have more class or workstudy in the afternoons. Then they eat supper in the caf, go back and work on homework or procrastinate and visit other rooms or dorms. Then they do homework. After that it’s some internet surfing or card games or movie or TV. People crash anywhere from around 12:00-2:00 in the morning.

Now let’s take your typical Saturday. The weirdo with the job or activity gets up around 9:00. Everyone else gets up somewhere between 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Unless you’re Josh, in which case you get up at 2:00 in the afternoon. Breakfast is a joke. Some people (if they get up early enough) go to lunch, some go the California Cafe for “brunch” and then people sit around/hang out until dinner. Then people go clubbin’, watch a movie, hang out with friends, play sports on the quad, play cards, or whatever. Then comes the typical internet surfing or movie watching. People crash anywhere from around 2:00 to 5:00 in the morning.

I love weekends.
