Right. So today I’m posting earlier than normal. The explanation will show up momentarily.
School was average. Not the worst, not the best. It was fine. In fact I came out feeling pretty good. Thinking about hangin’ out with some cool people tonight, maybe jettin’ on over to Abe’s for a while…but no.
Ansen walks in the door of his house and sees Dad.
Ansen: Hi Dad.
Dad: Hi Ansen. Did you notice mom is gone?
Ansen: Yes…
Dad: Yeah…well she’s going to be gone till tomorrow afternoon.
Ansen: Ok.
Dad: And I have a meeting tonight at six, so you’re going to need to babysit.
Ansen: Ok…
Dad: Oh, and a guy from Wichita is coming up to go to the meeting with me, and he’s going to spend the night at our house. I don’t want him to have to sleep on the pull-out bed, so he’s going to sleep in your bed.
Ansen: Ok…
Dad: And he’ll be here around five, so you need to clean your room up.
Ansen: Ok…
Dad: And then when we get back from the meeting you should probably stay out of your room.
Ansen: Ok…
Dad: Ok, and then tomorrow, I have a meeting at First Southern Baptist at 10:00. You’re going to need to babysit, because at 11:00 I need you to bring Arielle there, because she’s going to help with serving lunch. You’ll just have to take the kids with you, then bring them back here to watch them.
Ansen: Ok…
Dad: And your mom and I may have another meeting Saturday night, we’ll just have to see.
Ansen: Ok…
Dad: And that’s it. You alright?
Ansen: Wonderful.
So I’m a happy camper. Not only can I not go to Abe’s and cannot chill with anyone tonight, but I don’t even get to sleep in my own bed or use any of the stuff in my room (like this computer for instance, that’s the reason for the earliness of my post…). Then I have to babysit again in the morning, drive my sister to some church, and then maybe babysit again that night and not get to hang out with anyone again. And to add stuff on top of that, I have a frickin’ long summary I have to do of some ultra-long article on shakespeare for English class, I have an annoying Great Ideas reading to do, and we can’t have band practice Sunday.
Grr.
UPDATE: (5:50 P.M.)
Well, the dude man came and has gone. He and dad are at the meeting now, but after much gnashing of teeth and then begging of my sister and dad, I have recieved permission to go to Andrew’s tonight. The trade-off? I have to watch the children tomorrow from 9:00-3:00 without Arielle’s help. But hey, that’s alright. At least I can get out tonight. So I’m doing a bit better now.
But enough of me. You probably don’t even like me anyways! So I’m going to go watch Family Guy while you read someone else’s blog. Now go. Toodles.
Ansen you probably should make sure you don’t take it outon your sister for having to babysit tomorrow and thank her a lot for letting you go to Andrews tonight.
hey this andrew i started on here xanga was cool but i know people here. u have my site now i gues… heh gl
Hey this is the Andrew whose house Ansen went to last night. I don’t normally type like the Andrew above me did. Just to clear that up.
if im not mistaken it was you who was complaining about post about peoples weekends……Well cheer up and remember the words of wise king solomon there is a time for every purpose under heaven” apparently this week was assinged to babysitting and honoring your parents by not complaing too much about your situation…regaurdless of how much it may suck, but who am i to even say anything i went out friday night:)
