Artist Without a Commision

Wow. I can’t believe it. I just typed my whole blog post and then pressed publish, and I got an error, and then when I pressed back my whole post was gone. Grr. I suppose I’ll start again…

The Relationship Experts Blog Grand Opening was today, and everything got off the ground well, so you should head on over and check it out. Now.

You know…I am at a point at which I’ve never really been before. Yes, of course, it involves girls. Actually, it doesn’t really. Well, you’ll see what I mean.

For the first time in a long time, I have spent an extended period of time not only without a dating relationship with someone, but also without any prospects at all. It’s kinda weird not liking anyone and not really seeing anyone that you would want to pursue.

Honestly I’m not quite sure what to do. I’m standing here befuddled. I watch as Andrew and Abe chip away at…well, that stuff that they chip away at…and I just stand there, an artist without a commision. An poor, unemployed man.

So what can I do? I suppose the only thing left to do is just wait for college. There will be plenty of Christian chicks there. But that’s easier said than done. What am I supposed to do all summer? I would rather pursue someone and then get shot down like a flaming fireball than not have anyone to “woo” at all, and that’s saying something – getting shot down isn’t that much fun.

Now don’t think I’m depressed or moping about this. I’m not. Like I said, I’m just befuddled. Today was actually a really good day. I got to not go to golf practice, and I got to eat chicken. Yummm.

Well, I won’t take up more of your time. I’ve gotta go get searching. Actually…it’s almost 11:30, so maybe I’ll search tomorrow. For now I’ll just go meditate about world peace.
