And So Ends Another

Another day has come and gone, and it was pretty uneventful. Only a couple things of note:

First up, MAACS. It went…ok. Not bad, not great. The main problem was that we got cheated because the group behind us was using the warm-up room when it was our turn, and they made us go in place of another group even though we didn’t want to. They almost skipped us, they were literally calling the next group.

So obviously we were a bit flustered…but oh well. Like Nathan and I were talking about though, “It’s over!!!” So it’s all good.

Then came the ride home from MAACS. It was actually very entertaining, and although I won’t reveal any details, it made me laugh alot. (Just so you know Nathan, mom wasn’t right…)

Then I came home. And did pretty much nothing. I laid around, watched NCAA games, laid around some more, played a little Halo, watched more NCAA games, and that was it. But I actually kinda enjoyed it. It was the first extended period of time in a while that I’ve been able to just sit around and relax.

Well…I guess that’s all. I apologize in advance if I don’t post tomorrow…but…you know how it goes. I’ll probably post when I get home, but it might be the next day by then. So we’ll see. Here’s a lucubration to tide you over until morrow next: Marta was watching the football game with me when she said, “You know, most of these sports are based on the idea of one group protecting its territory from invasion by another group.” “Haha, yeah…” I said, trying not to laugh. Sometimes girls are so funny.

  1. Have a happy Friday night, dude. Sorry you have to miss NCAA, but I’m pretty sure you don’t mind. As I’m writing this, you’re probably… hmm… talking or something, or maybe going to the bathroom from too much vodka spiked punch. Later
