Wow. What a day.
This day seems like three completely different days. This morning seems like forever ago, and right after school seems like a while ago, but right after after school still seems like pretty recently I guess, so not all is lost.
We’ll strart with school. If I had to name this part of my day, it would be “Boring…with a Twist.” Yeah so it was mostly boring. We really didn’t do much the whole day. The “Twist”? Well, there’s actually sort of two, a general and a specific one. The general one is this was my last day of school before Spring Break!!!!!! The specific one was soccer. With pens. And a mini bouncy ball. During Music History class. Andrew and I each won a game, so I’m sure we’ll have to have a re-match at some point.
Next was right after school. I walked in the door and saw my mom and dad sitting in the kitchen with sort of a mix between pensive and sad looks on their faces. Yup, the college financial aid package had arrived. If I named this part of my day, it would be “Very Much Uncool”. I really am getting quite a bit of help, but with our new situation it’s still going to be difficult. And a really long, hard summer.
Then was the after after school. Tonight, I met the girl that I will be going to a formal with Friday night. If I had to name this part of my day, it would be “totally awesome”. Unfortunately there were always people around, so I didn’t get to talk to her much one on one, but she was extremely nice, intelligent, funny, pretty, all that. I was completely impressed. Whereas I was a little nervous, I now can’t wait for Friday. It’s gonna be awesome.
But alas, off to bed. So ends the three-part day. Soon a two-part day shall begin, consisting of performing with Nathan at MAACS and then going home and living it up. Peace.
