Well, I’m busy slaving away at re-doing the bio pages for the Relationship Experts blog. Matthew’s is pretty close to done. It’s simple, but…better than it was. Only four more to go.
Band practice and youth group were both very enjoyable today. We played like six or seven of our own original songs in band today and they all sounded pretty good. It was fun, and a lot more productive than last week. Youth group was pretty fun too. I’m not so sure that handball is the greatest thing in the world, but it’s alright. Except for my shins. Grr. I won’t even go there.
Although…there is something that hurts more than shin splints. And that is being shoved in the back into and then in through a door while trying to catch a ball. Thanks to Matthew for helping me figure that one out :). And on top of that it was the door to the girl’s bathroom. Apparently it wasn’t latched because I sorta flew right in there. Luckily, no one was using the facilities at the time….I hit my head on the doorknob though, and I gotta say it didn’t feel to good.
Anyway, school comes back tomorrow. I wish school had shin splints cause then it wouldn’t be able to get around as fast and it might take longer to get here. But unfortunately school doesn’t have legs (why did no one tell me this before?).
But yeah. I won’t take up any more of your time. I have to go find some music for convocation tomorrow (boo…). I hate leading worship at school. Everyone just stands there and stares at you like they would if you were up there doing the macarena. Sorta that “I have no idea what the heck you’re doing, but I know one thing, and that’s that I’m not doing it with you!” type of an attitude. It makes me depressed. Buuuuut oh well. I said I wasn’t going to take up any more of your time. So I won’t. I’ll end with a lucubration: If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is “God is crying.” And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is “Probably because of something you did.”
