Today was fun.
I went to Goodwill and Branded with mom and bought some new clothes for college. I got some sweet-action t-shirts, a pair of jeans, and a couple vintage collared shirts, a couple tight (literally) sweaters, and a retro 70’s jacket thing.
Then I came home and got my schedule changed to accomodate my acceptance into the honors program. Then we paid my first college bill. Then I did…something else. Oh, then I cleaned my room, and then I got my checks in the mail. I have checks. With my name on them. And golf courses.
Then I went to work for three hours, and then went to Andrew’s and played some Halo, and now I’m back. Unfortunately I have to open so it’s about time for bed.
I was listening to this song today and it suddenly took on several new meanings…I sat thinking about it for a good half an hour. I felt like I could have cried. I know, I’m a girl. It’s just so hard to believe that I have one more one more week, one more sunday school, one more youth group, and only one more time to see so many of my friends for what could be a long time…
Now we’ve all grown up, gone on and moved away
Nothing I can do about it, nothing I can say
To bring us back to where we were when life was not this hard
Looking back it all just seems so far, so far away
We’ll be miles apart
I’ll keep you deep inside
You’re always in my heart
A new life to start
I may be leaving but
You’re always in my heart
Cool song, i could totally relate. This is really it, college is really happening. Its crazy to think about, there are so many emotions behind it. This is it.
Yeah, definitely a great song. I can relate as well. Yellowcard right? Good stuff.
