Yes, my goal today was to find something cool to do after work. And yes, as the title of the post implies, I didn’t do well. I got home at about 6:15, ate some pasta, sat down on the stairs talking to mom, then sat on the floor talking to mom, and then, because mom was now on the phone with someone, I fell asleep. On our hardwood floor. Which I’ve never done before.
So I guess I’ve done something new now, but it still wasn’t very exciting. Also, I saw that Arielle commented on both my blog and her own, and so my deepest darkest suspicions have proved to be correct. She didn’t really die, and I just lied.
My third (although I’m sure not final) failure of the day was to make this post interesting.

Oh, you may not think this post is interesting, but you’re far from right. Just the title brings back memories of Matthew getting all the chicks at camp and taking pictures with them while wearing a shirt that says, “When all else fails, lower your standards.” Good times.
