El Fin de Semana

For those of you one-language only junkies out there, that means “the weekend”. Profound, I know. Of course…if you are a Mexican one-language junkie then I suppose you didn’t need me to tell you that. Although that also means that I can say whatever I want about you right here because this is in English. Where am I going with this, you ask? Not really anywhere.

My upcoming weekend isn’t the most exciting prospect ever. We have choir retreat starting tonight at 6:15 and going till Sunday around noon. Some people say that it’s just bundles of fun…but those are the people that enjoy choir as well. Which I’m not a huge fan. But anyway…we’ll see how it goes.

It’s just kinda depressing because under NORMAL circumstances you spend all week waiting to get to the weekend…but then your girlfriend has to go home AND you’re pretty much stuck off-campus in a class you don’t like for a day and two halves, missing out on Friday and Saturday night (the two funnest times of the week) in the process. BLEH!

I’m pretty sure this is the first Friday EVER where I’d actually prefer it to be next Monday.
