Tomorrow is the day to register for spring semester! Yay! Here is my tentative class list (assuming I get all the ones I want).
BST 1123 – Performance
BST 2101 – Intermediate Radio Practicum
BST 2223 – Media Writing
HSP 1002 – Wellness
LDR 2121 – Current Topics/Study of Leadership Developement
LS 2123 – Intermediate Spanish II
MTH 1003 – Quantitative Literacy
MUS 3801 – Cathedral Choir
That gives me a total of 17 hours for the semester. The top three are for my broadcasting major, Wellness and Quantitative Literacy are general education classes, Intermediate Spanish is for my Spanish major, and choir is just for fun. Then there’s that one w/ the really long title about leadership. Apparently, taking that class allows you to apply to become an RA. Becoming an RA pays for room and board. Room and board is expensive. I have no money. Therefore, taking the leadership class may help me to actually be able to return to JBU next year. At least that’s the idea. In addition to my 17 hours, I will also have 10 hours of workstudy per week at KLRC. Which means I’ll keep busy.
Now I must away, for tomorrow I must wake at 7:30 so I can try to get my classes set as soon as registration opens (8:00 AM). Fare thee well, ogre.
you are thinking of being an r.a? thats cool. i might do that 2nd semester of my sophomore year, when our current r.a. on ym hall….whom we love….leaves. good luck with all the classes!!
That whole ‘random news’ thing didn’t last too long. I hope you get into all your classes without trouble. I was going to put all my classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, then I thought, ‘that’s stupid. If I did that, I would only come into school two days a week, and I feel like coming in five days a week’. So that’s not happening. Well, anyway, I have to get up in five hours for work, so I guess I should go now…
