Have you ever felt like making fun of someone because they said something would happen a certain way but you knew based on previous experiences that it wouldn’t happen that way and that they were wrong and you were right and then sure enough you were right and they really really deserved to get made fun of, but you know it’d be pretty mean and your friend tells you that yeah it really would be mean and so then you don’t say anything but still think it would’ve been funny?
Yeah me neither.
Except for yesterday. It really would have been funny. But mean I suppose. But still, I CALLED IT!!
Well, today is (more like was) the last day before returning to school. I played some guitar this morning for Sunday School and that was pretty fun. I then came home and ate a yummy lunch and that was fun. Then I layed around on the couch and watched two basketball games, and both of the teams that I wanted to win won.
Would there be a comma in between win and won? I don’t think I’ve EVER used the present and past tenses of a verb right next to each other and have it make sense (somewhat). That’s crazy.
But anyway, North Carolina won which is good because it’ll make KU fans mad, and Michigan State won which is good because UK isn’t very cool and green is my favorite color and David likes them a lot.
Soooo (I write like a girl too Abe) it was a good day. The only bad thing is school tomorrow, and Nathan and I have to do our skit. But I suppose I’ll live. Anywho (more girly writing) I’m headin’ out of this joint, so here’s a lucubration: Too bad when I was a kid there wasn’t a guy in our class that everybody called the “Cricket Boy”, because I would have liked to stand up in class and tell everybody, “You can make fun of the Cricket Boy if you want to, but to me he’s just like everybody else.” Then everybody would leave the Cricket Boy alone, and I’d invite him over to spend the night at my house, but after about five minutes of that loud chirping I’d have to kick him out. Maybe later we could get up a petition to get the Cricket Family run out of town. Bye, Cricket Boy.
