Bleh

You know, I watch very little TV. There’s the occasional sports game or Seinfeld epsiode, but comparatively speaking I hardly ever watch TV. And so it is with a heavy heart that I report that tonight I watched CSI Miami. The whole family went over to the neighbors’ house. Apparently the dude thats my age is addicted to this show, so he brought me downstairs to watch it with him.

And I gotta admit, it wasn’t bad.

But then again, I don’t see how some people could spend so much time in front of the television. I mean, I’d think that it’d all get old pretty quick. So I think if you’re gonna watch a TV episode like that, doing it only occasionally is the way to go. I figured that since it was CSI Miami it’d just be showing a bunch of good looking models on a beach, but there actually was none of that and it was a good, new-fashioned murder mystery. Even though it was a bit predictable concerning who was guilty (the motives were the unpredictable part).

But moving on. Today I made my triumphant return to school, and it was bleh. I think that’s the best word that one could use to describe CPLS these days. Bleh. Not horrible, not wonderful. It’s just time to go do something else. Bleh.

Anyway, that’s all I have for today. Buuut of course you need a lucubration, so let’s try this one on for size: I can still recall old Mister Barnslow getting out every morning and nailing a fresh load of tadpoles to the old board of his. Then he’d spin it round and round, like a wheel of fortune, and no matter where it stopped he’d yell out, “Tadpoles! Tadpoles is a winner!” We all thought he was crazy. But then we had some growing up to do.

Oh yeah. That fits real nice.
