A Weekend

Hallelujah.

I got to sleep in (I got up only about half an hour ago) for the first time in recent memory. Beautiful. My family isn’t here for the weekend since my mom and sis were here so recently, but my other, new family is (that’s kind of weird to say!), and I got to spend several hours with them last night.

Talent show is tonight. It was a blast being involved in it last year and getting to win and everything…but I’m definitely excited that this year I can just relax and watch all of the acts. It’ll be lotsa fun.

In other news, my prof that I have three classes with on Tuesdays and Thursdays is gone this week, so I have Tue./Thu. COMPLETELY FREE!! This most likely means an excessive amount of sleeping/eating/video games with Chase, which shall be quite enjoyable. I’ve been looking forward to this week for…weeks.

I think that’s all that’s new in my little life. I’m getting kind of :( by the fact that no one really reads this anymore…and that most of my fellow bloggers have fallen by the wayside. But I’ve been reading some of my past blogs from over a couple years ago, and the enjoyment that has provided me with is enough incentive to continue to write. I would never keep up with writing in a journal or diary otherwise, so this is a good outlet to do it on. It’s so interesting to look back and see how I’ve changed since 2004.

Anyways. I smell absolutely terrible. Shower time.

  1. I too am sad that no one reads anymore… Ok, mostly just that I don’t read anymore. I’m encouraged that Thomas (briefly at least) and Craig have started going again. We’ll see if I can join in, but who knows.

I’m in Topeka right now, but I’m getting my wisdom teeth pulled in 7.5 hours…
