Been discussing some pretty crazy (although awesome) stuff recently. I can’t believe it has been discussed…but at the same time that it’s a bit weird, it’s very, very exciting! It’s amazing how quickly life as a whole can move along, yet this little summer that I’m stuck in now can move along so slowly. Days and weeks last forever…but months and years fly by.
Thought of the day: I really wish I was a rock star. As I was strolling past the TV yesterday, Oprah was on, and she was doing some special something about making people’s wildest dreams come true. I don’t really know the specifics cause I didn’t really stick around to watch…but the opportunity to play in a band in front of thousands of people would be my wildest dream come true. Playing music is so energizing. It’s one of my favorite things to do.
Speaking of which, I’m pretty much pumped for this Saturday, when Matthew and I are going to hit the ‘recording studio’ (his church sanctuary) and try to bust out some new tunes we’ve been working on. Plus, on Sunday, I’m going to play for one of my church’s services (called Xenos). I’m really excited, cause I haven’t played for anything or recorded anything in a long time.
Maybe I’ll post some of our lyrics to our songs in the upcoming days…
I think I see through your vague language to a shining country full of green grass, softly sloping hills, and perhaps purple unicorns. Though the last part is optional. If I am right, you should wink at me next time you comment on my blog or something so we can continue to feel secretive and sly.

I see the purple unicorns too, but they are most certainly not optional. Tiger is kicking butt at the British Open. How many of your 24 days are weekends that you don’t have to work?
That is so weird. I don’t understand the random usage of the word sympathy…it doesn’t make any sense. Well, unless you go by the definition that we’ve all been taught and then their use of it is kind of insulting. What a weird thing to say. MySpace is whack.
Does this mean I might possibly get a cd when you are finished? ‘Cause that would be amazing!
