I went to the doctor today!
Pretty much nothing new…I have a lot of the physical characteristics of Marfan Syndrome…so I have to go get a cardiogram and an MRA of my heart, as well as have an eye exam. Don’t know when those will happen yet, but it’ll be sometime before the 13th. We’ll know a little more then as far as me playing sports and all that kind of stuff goes, as well as how serious this may or may not be.
I’m getting some insoles for my shoes because apparently I need more arch support. My feet are flat, which causes my ankes to turn inwards and that’s what causes my shin splints and sore feet. I’ll need to wear ankle braces and stuff from now on if I’m playing sports or something to help them not turn inwards so much and put stress on my legs.
Anyways…I got new shoes today as well. They’re Pumas, and they’re black and white and blue. And they’re cool.
More later…
My pumas are orange and blue, and I love them. That sucks about all the braces and stuff – do you think that it will affect you at all or will you be able to adjust? In local news, I broke a toe this week at camp – I was playing soccer barefoot :-)
