I’m afaid that it is 7:00 and that society is calling my name. I’m just getting ready to head out to the place to be (you know where that is) and I’ll be gone until the early hours of tomorrowhood. And since that is the case, I’m afraid I don’t have time to write much. There’s the possiblity I will post again at the place to be (if an internet enabled computer is available), but I decided I’d go ahead and post at least something just in case. And so, I give you this:
“On a recent trip, we were asking one of our sponsors who works at Jack In The Box Inc. some funny stories or experiences with the company. The funniest story he had was when an operations manager was late for a meeting and called his boss to tell him he was running late. As he was leaving the voice mail message, he witnessed an accident and went on to provide “play by play” of the incident.
After telling us the story, he promised to send us a copy of the voice mail and here it is*. This is the actual voice mail message. It was passed along and forwarded so many times within Jack in the Box, it crashed their voice mail server.”
*Note: I wouldn’t suggest clicking the link if you have dial-up, because I’m not exactly sure what would happen. If you have broadband then be patient, it may take about 45 seconds to a minute before the new page shows up. It’s worth it.
Freaking awesome. Truly worth of an awesome comment. If ever anythnig approached awesomeness, it was that hick describing the 80 year old woman umbrella beat down.
I hate people who use “awesome” flippantly…so irreverent.
