_______ of the Day!

I hereby call this day “The Day after Valentine’s Day”. Oh. And I also call it the beginning of the four-day long event…”National WAV Day Times Four”!!! (For those of you who don’t know, files that end with .wav are sound files – thus the “National WAV Day….)

That’s why you hear the person in the background talking about my blog (if you didn’t hear it, turn up your speaker volume and hit refresh). Anyway, I’ve decided that over the next four days I shall put a different song/sound on my blog. They shall be the…WAV’s of the Day!!! Some may be funny, some may be annoying, and some may be just plain stupid, but that’s just the way I am sometimes…

But anyway, on towards the real content.

Ok. Never mind, we already got past the real content. Now we’ll move on to some fake content that I’ll butter up until it looka halfway…um…cooked? Or…buttered. I guess.

You know, I tend to be a fan of “_____’s of the day” stuff. So I’ve got a couple of those to dish out to you. Since we’ve already heard the “WAV of the Day”, we’re going to move on to the “Quote of the Day.” Today it features Jayne (capitalization and punctuation fixed)…

“Ansen, I think you are BRILLIANT! Oh my friend, you’re very, very smart.”

Wow. If that one doesn’t bring tears to your eyes, I don’t know what will. But we can’t read that over and over for forever, so we’ll move on to…”The Cartoon of the Day!”

Moving right along…”Stupid Foreign Sign of the Day”. This one is a sign in a Hong Kong supermarket: “For your convenience, we recommend courteous, efficient self-service.”

Wham wham wham, we’re going to keep ’em coming. Here’s the “Photo of the Day”.

Anyway, I suppose that’s about enough for one day. Also…I’m sorry if you use my blog as a navigation center and that wav keeps playing over and over again. It’s just going to be like that for a while I suppose. Just wait until we get to the ones that loop……..

OH! I almost forgot. What would a bunch of “_____ of the Day” ‘s be without a…LUCUBRATION OF THE DAY!!! I’ll leave you with that: Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: “Mankind”. Basically, it’s made up of two separate words – “mank” and “ind”. But what do these words mean? I’m afriad it’ll always be a mystery, and the same with mankind.
