Freelance CD Now For Sale!!!

Yay! The Freelance CD is offically finished and ready for sale!! The price per CD is $5.00. If you’ve left a comment on one of my posts saying you want one then there’ll be one waiting for you, but you’ve got to get ahold of me or make arrangements to get it (basically what I’m saying is I’m not going to come search you out). If you don’t know where you’d possibly see me I suppose I might be able to ship it to you, but you would pay any and all shipping costs in addition to the five dollars for the cd.

Anyway, I’ll always keep a few in my car and stuff so if you see me at church, youth group, or some other event I’ll have some to sell people. I’ll be bringing about ten to youth group tomorrow so bring five bucks if you want one (preferably exactly five dollars cause I can’t promise I’ll have change)!

Also, before you ask, no I will not give you a free one. Not because I don’t like you, but because I can’t afford to give you a free one, because I had to pay for all of them out of my own pocket and I need reimbursed. Only band members, family, and one other special person gets one for free.

Anyway…now that it’s officially out, I’ll start putting some of our little “Did you know?” dealies in each of my posts. It should be fun. Anyway, that’s all for now. Adios, mis amigos.

DID YOU KNOW? I perform the song “An Untitled Tribute” (Graduation Song) completely by myself (piano, lead vocals, and backup vocals) on the new Freelance album. But I cannot perform the song live! Firstly, I can’t play the piano part in the correct key, and so I had to use a keyboard effect to transpose it. Secondly, my voice is not high enough to consistently hit the top note after the key change. In fact, for the recording of the song, I had to take a five minute break between each measure after the key change so my voice could rest and I could hit the note. And even so, we have plenty of sound bites with my voice cracking like a thirteen year old boy. Just ask David.
