Tonight was interesting. It started out good…then got depressing…then got decent again.
It’s funny how you can spend all week long waiting in excitement for the weekend…and then Friday night comes around and you sit somewhere and don’t really do anything and then go somewhere else and sit and don’t really do anything and then go back to your room at midnight and sit and don’t really do anything but stare in utter boredom at your computer screen for three hours just thinking. The night was like…trying to think of a comparison here…it was kinda like being stoked about getting to go to your friend’s birthday party only to get there and then have your friend tell you it’s over after you’ve only been there for five minutes and haven’t even eaten cake or played games yet. Yeah.
I did get to see Peter and Chase run around with their shorts hiked up like speedos earlier, so I guess the night wasn’t all lost.
Buuut…after coming back to the suite I had a good solid conversation w/ my 21 guys…those are always fun. Hopefully, however, tomorrow will be a little more uppity than tonight proved to be.
