Maybe There Will Be An Earthquake…It’d Sure Shake Things Up Around Here…

I just got off of work for the morning…and I have a weird three hour break here in the middle, so I figured I’d write.

What is there to write about? Life is…bleh. It saddens me to hear me say that, because I want it to be like during school, when life was anything but drudgery. Then there was a new adventure every day…even if it took till 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning for it to come around. Now I have an ‘adventure’ once every two or three weeks.

My school bill came in the mail a few days ago. Around $4700 due for the semester. It is kind of satisfying to know that I can pay it in full with no outside help, completely off of what I’ve worked this summer. I can pay my own $5000 bill. Satisfying, yes, but also slightly depressing, because that means I’ll basically be broke again after paying both semesters. Bring on the ramen noodles. Actually…it’s not all bad…I like ramen. Paying for ‘nights out’ is going to be the tricky part…

I decided one of my goals is to be able to buy a new pair of tennis shoes before the end of the summer. Like, some nice ones. I’m not holding on to that idea too tightly, though – it may or may not happen. Another thing I’d like is to be able to play my Xbox again. All of my controllers got stolen and so now it’s just sitting in my room collecting dust. I’m trying to decide which would be more worth it, spend $120 to use it again or just sell it off…we’ll see.

I baked myself a pizza, which I must now go eat. Then (big surprise) I have to go to work again for eight hours. Wooooohoo.

Catch you later.

  1. Yeah, I was talking to Oliver just now, and I was telling him that I was eager to get back to school as well. I figured that I wanted some sort of structure in my life, but I just realised then that it has more to do with constant camaraderie that happens every single day (insead of just on the weekends). Anyway, yea for ramen noodles. No joke, that’s what I just finished eating just now. I like ramen too. It used to be my favourite food. Well… I guess that it still is.

  2. Yay for ramen. Yay for comaraderie. Yay for random crazy adventures that happen everyday of the week. It’s too bad that I’m graduating a whole semester early, and that eventually that college lifestyle will have to go away. :( BUT UNTIL THEN… let’s have random crazy adventures!

  3. Ansen~ I’m glad to hear that you are not coming under the school bills. I want you to know how much I respect what you are doing this summer, even though it doesn’t concern me at all. I look up to you, man.

So Monday… I will be driving up to Illinois, I just realized. And I am busy tonight. Should we wait until I get back? Or should we try something Sunday night? Doesn’t have to be all evening. Hopefully talk to you soon- Abe
