We have much to be thankful for this year. Life, health, provision. But you know, the one thing I am most thankful for, are the people in my life. Over the past few years we developed some wonderful friendships and even more recently, been able to take the friendships even deeper.

I am thankful for my mom friends, who I can meet with, swap horror stories, who can uplift me and who I can uplift. You guys are awesome and I am so thankful for your friendship.

I am thankful for Mothering Matters, a group of moms who I am just getting to know, but who have already encouraged me so much.

I am thankful for our young couples small group, who we are beginning to develop better relationships with and sharing life with. I look forward to continuing to do life with you all.

I am thankful for the wonderful staff I work with. I have a great boss and boss’ boss. I love sharing ministry with all of you.

I am thankful for my family, both the one I was born into and the one I was loved into. You are all my favorites. I have the best parents (and parents-in-love) and the best siblings (of every kind) a girl can ask for.

I am thankful for my little Aviator. As hard as parenting can be, she is a reward all on her own. I love discovering who she is. And pretty darn cute, if I do say so my self.

I am thankful for my loving husband, who is more than I could have ever asked or hoped for.You are my anchor in the emotional storms and lift me up when I’m sinking. Mostly, you keep me by your side and I love you.

I am thankful for my God, who became a man to dwell among us, to know us, to experience life with us, to take on my brokenness, and set me right with Himself. I am excited to celebrate the advent of his coming beginning tomorrow.
