Today I decided that my favorite time of day is about 7:30pm. It’s after all the hard work for the day, before bedtime, just right for slowing down, relaxing and enjoy. It’s not the hottest part of the day, but it’s cooling down. It’s when people used to do their front porch sitting.
I also decided that my favorite time of year is mid-spring. It’s past the point of frosting, and not quite to the uber-hot end that bleeds into summer. It’s fairly warm, but not too hot. Just right for a light jacket, occasionally shorts.
If you put the two together, you have the best of all possible worlds, as Candide’s friend would say.
