Last weekend, Ansen went to Manhattan (Kansas that is) with his dad, brother & brother-in-law to watch a K-State game with his grandpa.
He managed to get super sunburned… but Mr. Miser did manage to convince himself to buy a $25 K-State shirt. It took some convincing from the wifey to tell him there was money in the budget, but he did it!
While he was off having a boys weekend, Avie and I went to Little Rock with my sister-in-law to have a girls weekend with mom-in-law and other sister-in-law!
This was before Aunt Ellie filled up every last inch of our vehicle to bring tools for refinishing Mimi’s cabinets.
And, the baby is now mobile. She’s amazingly quick with that army crawl. And of course, we had to support the cats on Saturday.
There was lots of coffee, desserts and shopping this weekend. Whew, I’m going to need this week to recover!

How fun! Being from Kansas you would think I would have an affiliation of my own, but my family had fans of both KSate and KU. But I definitely married into a KState family, so that sways my vote a bit. Haha!
